WE ARE ALREADY TIRED OF BBM FOR ANDROID/iOS

its been almost three months since Blackberry announced that their proprietary BBM messaging service would be made available to other platforms, Android and iOS especially. we haven't stopped salivating at the possibilities this could bring of course there's already a variety of  cross-platform Messaging Services available of which Whatsapp is king, we can not stop thinking about what this would mean for android, IOS and blackberry users alike.

I switched over from blackberry since Samsung released the Galaxy S II and i have not looked back, sure recent developments have made me cast a longing look at blackberry's latest offerings but I have remained adamant and my faith was strengthened when it was announced that BBM might be coming to Android this summer. Making the jump from one platform to the other was a hard decision for me because i had most of my friends and social contacts on BBM and most of them were not yet seeing the green light that was Android or should i say Samsung. You can't imagine the joy i must have felt when i heard there might be an opportunity to re-unite with my long lost contacts, i still have a blackberry account and I backed up my contacts before i discarded my Curve. I have been waiting to jump back on the BBM bandwagon without necessarily having to switch from Android to blackberry again but i am already sick of waiting.

Sources have it that BBM would be released before the end of september and its already in its beta testing stage but would it be greeted with the same enthusiasm as it had received when it was announced because  i think people are already bored of waiting, besides there are lots of other apps that do what BBM does and do it even better, Viber for instance allows users to make free calls amongst themselves irrespective of locations or network so BBM will really need to be impressive to succeed although they have  features that other apps do not have such as video chatting over wifi and BBM channels still they need to release the application as soon as possible before people get over the anxiety all together. These are just my own thoughts on the issue, if you feel otherwise you can leave a comment in the comment section, do you think Blackberry should still share BBM to other platforms or they should just leave it on their BB10 ecosystem ?

I recently walked into a store at the computer village in Ikeja,Lagos and i saw people huddled around a manufacturers cubicle testing out a new phone, i was amazed to find out it was a Tecno phone that drew such a crowd, not just any Tecno "Kpalasa" phone but a nice looking white device that could be easily mistaken for a samsung galaxy device or even HTC. The Tecno Phantom A1 was released a few weeks ago, it received rave reviews and was being compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 its critically acclaimed as the best budget Smartphone in the market. I've decided to do this review now as the buzz around the phone has reduced and a review can be done in a cooler atmosphere and without sentiments. OVERVIEW Starting with the packaging, Tecno has really improved with the packaging and presentation of this phone. it comes in a glossy box with all the spec details of the phone printed on the back. Out of the box, it comes with a set of earphones, usb cab

INTRODUCING THE NEW iPAD AIR: FULL REVIEW

Apple unveiled the iPad Air a couple of weeks back and it’s a  breathtaking  masterpiece reminiscent of the innovation Apple has been known for. Apple revolutionized mobile computing with the release of the original iPad 1 in 2010 and since then they have maintained a vice-like grip on the Tablet Market which they almost single handedly created. OVERVIEW The new iPad is a refresh of the apple iPad line-up , it has a sleeker design whose inspiration was taken directly from the new iPad mini, Apple claims the device is faster, thinner and lighter than the iPad 4 and at first glance it bears no resemblance  to the latter ,  which justifies the rebranded name iPad Air. Apple has managed to hold of other Manufacturers who want a slice of the their Tablet Market share and this device along with its pint sized relative the iPad Mini are meant to fly the banner for them in 2014 would this innovation be enough to fight off the competition? We were able to spend a few days with the
