The Lumia 1020 stayed true to the rumours and Nokia did not tone down any of its 41 Megapixel goodness however you have the option to shoot in the maximum resolution depending on the aspect ratio. The 1020 is not just another camera phone trying to win the MegaPixel cold war, Nokia has put in place futuristic technology to make the image quality in this device above par. The optics package of this phone contains six Carl Zeiss lenses which nokia claims to be the most ever used in any mobile smartphone and they are resting on ball bearings so as to improve image stability, so even if you have shaky hands or you are trying to capture a motion shot the Lumia 1020 would always produce top quality pictures. Nokia did not delay in flaunting their camera's quality and they showed comparisons with other high-end camera phone

Nokia has really done a lot of research and they didn't not just stick an optical zoom lens behind the phone, instead they have packaged a lot of software tweaks to handle image processing so as to give users the best image quality and consume the least space on your hard drive.Nokia Has totally changed the Camera App and optimized it for the Lumia 1020, they have included lots of manual toggles and plan to release the SDK so that third-party developers can take advantage of the camera and implement it into their own applications as well.
The Lumia 1020 would go on sale in the US on july 26 but it would be limited to only AT&T and would be really pricey coming in at $300 on a 2 year Contract.
