iOS 7: PICTURES AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Apple announced iOS 7 at WWDC this week. Today we bring you an in depth Review of the OS. Many iPhone and iOS users have been clamouring for a fresh breath of air in the look and feel of iOS. iOS 7 is already bein touted by apple as the biggest break away from the norm since it announced its first generation iPhone back in 2007. Personally I think the comparison is a little far fetched because most of the functions are already available on other platforms like windows phone and Android. I have included snapshots of the iOS 7 key functions. However let's take a look at the goodies....... LOCK SCREEN: the new lock screen takes the personality of your wallpaper. Its not a far departure from what's available on android jellybean. HOME SCREEN This is the new home screen in iOS 7. Apple redesigned all of its icons for this major update, including Mail, Settings, iTunes, Game Center, Photos, Safari and more. TECNO PHANTOM A1: FULL REVIEW

I recently walked into a store at the computer village in Ikeja,Lagos and i saw people huddled around a manufacturers cubicle testing out a new phone, i was amazed to find out it was a Tecno phone that drew such a crowd, not just any Tecno "Kpalasa" phone but a nice looking white device that could be easily mistaken for a samsung galaxy device or even HTC. The Tecno Phantom A1 was released a few weeks ago, it received rave reviews and was being compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 its critically acclaimed as the best budget Smartphone in the market. I've decided to do this review now as the buzz around the phone has reduced and a review can be done in a cooler atmosphere and without sentiments. OVERVIEW Starting with the packaging, Tecno has really improved with the packaging and presentation of this phone. it comes in a glossy box with all the spec details of the phone printed on the back. Out of the box, it comes with a set of earphones, usb cab...

Android 4.3 Now out for Nexus 4

One of the perks of having a Nexus phone besides the stock android ROM is the rate at which updates are delivered to these devices. It was just yesterday that Android executive Sundar pichai announced Android 4.3 and today its already everywhere. Now nexus owners can easily update to this new flavor of jellybean while some of us are still stuck on jellybean 4.1.2, even Samsung hasnt released the android 4.2.2 update for Galaxy SIII and Note II yet while the nexus community gets to take a huge slice of that jellybean while we wait on the sidelines. If you have a LG Nexus 4 all you have to do to get this update is; 1. Go to settings 2. Scroll down to About Phone 3. Tap the System Updates option The update should begin immediately simple as ABC, this is why I love the simplicity of nexus devices, no long gruesome waits for updates. If you do get these update please use the comment box to tell us what you feel about this new flavor of android, should they have moved on to key lime p...
