Nigerian wears Google Glass to NBA Draft pick

Oladipo at the 2013 NBA Draft pick
Nigerian Victor Oladipo who was picked by the Orlando Magic team based in Orlando, Florida during the NBA draft pick wore his Google glass to the NBA event. Orlando magic has had such notable players such as Shaquille Oneal, Rashard Lewis, Tracy McGrady and a host of others.

The Indiana University graduate added color to the often boring event with his little stunt.Oladipo  majored in Sports Communications so he's obviously well informed when it comes to sports image branding this might just be an act to grab the headlines and if it is, its working.

Wearable computing is making its way into our everyday lives and its increasingly popular amongst sports and fitness enthusiast, now its making its way into the NBA. At the moment of this report its unclear if Victor Oladipo is a glassware enthusiast or this is just a subliminal advert.....you never can tell these days.

However if Oladipo is a glassware enthusiast like we Technerds  wish he his, we wouldn't mind seeing him wearing it during a game and using the camera to make videos/pictures from a first person point of view. I think that would produce some never seen before footage of an NBA live game, that's if the NBA would allow the use of such gear during a game.

INFINIX RACE EAGLE: FULL REVIEW

I've heard a lot about the Infinix Race Eagle but i did not take much interest in it because its a subsidiary of a manufacturer ( Alcatel )   that has a bad reputation in Telecommunications industry . However in the past few months the Infinix brand  has began to gain traction in the Nigerian smartphone market as they have been striking deals with various service providers to make their smartphone available to more people around the country. Infinix is being recognized as one of the best budget smartphones in the market today with a few competitors such as the Tecno Phantom A1 which I did a full review on here .I decided to do a full review on this device too because it has definitely caught a lot of people's attention. OVERVIEW Straight out of the box the infinity Race Eagle is an unassuming phone, its a slightly hefty device with a 5.0" capacitive touch-screen across the diagonal. The design of the phone is not so impressive however Infinix has managed to ke...

iOS 7: PICTURES AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Apple announced iOS 7 at WWDC this week. Today we bring you an in depth Review of the OS. Many iPhone and iOS users have been clamouring for a fresh breath of air in the look and feel of iOS. iOS 7 is already bein touted by apple as the biggest break away from the norm since it announced its first generation iPhone back in 2007. Personally I think the comparison is a little far fetched because most of the functions are already available on other platforms like windows phone and Android. I have included snapshots of the iOS 7 key functions. However let's take a look at the goodies....... LOCK SCREEN: the new lock screen takes the personality of your wallpaper. Its not a far departure from what's available on android jellybean. HOME SCREEN This is the new home screen in iOS 7. Apple redesigned all of its icons for this major update, including Mail, Settings, iTunes, Game Center, Photos, Safari and more. NOTIFICATION CENTER The new Notification Center in iOS 7, activated by...

Its time to roll out the drums and jubilate....or NOT? Blackberry has kept us in the dark since they announced that they would make their famous BBM application available to other platforms hopefully its not too lates since people are getting bored and they have begun to look elsewhere for their Messaging needs, applications like, Hangouts, Whatsapp, Viber, WeChat, ChatOn, etc are already filling that void BBM would not even have enough elbow room to fight for. Blackberry India M.D Sunil Lalvani has reaffirmed claims that BBM for android will be available before the end of this summer as was originally announced by the Manufacturer. The Blackberry Executive was quoted in an interview with IBN live saying "The service is coming to Android this summer. but summer as per North America, where it remains till september" .  This is no longer news however it reaffirms the fact that Blackberry is still interested in sharing some of their goodies with other platforms, many peo...
